ABOUT THE TOOLKIT

The ‘Digital iTapWater Toolkit has been developed by Safe Water Network India, is a repository of tools to train the stakeholders and rural community to manage their water sources, water supply, treatment of water and water quality monitoring

The toolkit has been developed to assist, empower and facilitate the Government of India in implementing Jal Jeevan Mission (Rural) to provide FHTC to every household in the country, promote ownership in local communities and ensure sustainability of water supply systems. The iTapWater Toolkit is a step to build self-reliant water-sufficient communities. The toolkit will create a cadre of trainers, planners and implementers to operate and maintain their community water supply system. This will ensure water supply on regular basis in an adequate quantity and of prescribed quality.

One can either use these tools directly or adapt them locally to build an independent and decentralized water supply systems for communities. Please click here to download our brochure.
